From
1970
to 1975, Frank Arena sang in a group called The Redemptions in San
Jose, CA. While in concert, Frank met his wife Kelly. They have now
been married and have been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years.
Frank and Kelly have four daughters: Renee, Patty, Candy and Angie.
Patty
started singing with ther pareents at age 10. The rest of the girls
soon followed with Rene playing the bass, Candy playing drums, and
Patty and Angie singing. Through the years, the group traveled
throughout the Northwest, singing and holding revivals. Currently the
group is comprised of Frank, Kelly and Patty and calls Salem, OR home
where Frank is the Pastor of the Boone Road Church of God.
The
Arena Family has performed throughout the Western United States in
churches and concert halls, and at music festivals including
the
Pacific Gospel Music Association Convention and the
Great
Western Southern Gospel Fan Festival.
The Arena Family are
members of the
Pacific Gospel Music Association as well as the
Ambassadors of Gospel Music. They have had the fortune to perform with
some of Southern Gospel's best including
The Beene Family,
The
Journeymen,
The Griffiths, and
The Knox Brothers.
